Thanks for visiting my website, I'm glad you're here. My name is Kurt and I've been a designated Chartered Professional Accountant in Edmonton since 2021. I specialized in Assurance and Tax and these fields continue to be the focus of my practice today. My interest in tax began in University - when I was 22 years old, a couple of other big-dreamers and I launched a startup that built the first mobile tax filing application in Canada. This app allowed users to file their personal taxes from their phone quickly and securely. I went on to study and article at both owner managed and multinational firms in Alberta. 

 

With over a decade of Canadian and U.S. tax experience, I take pride in delivering a comprehensive range of services. I started this firm in 2024 and have been carefully growing it to ensure the trust of each and every client is upheld through the level of service they expect. Outside of my work, I value balance and connection. I enjoy being active in the beautiful Edmonton river valley, tending to my garden, playing cello, and spending time with my fiancé, Lauren, and my dog, Wyatt. These activities keep me grounded, creative, and energized, qualities I bring into my professional life when working closely with clients to understand their needs and goals. I am proud to call Canada home, having been born and raised in Edmonton, where I still reside close to my family, whose generational roots are in the farming communities of rural Alberta.
